I can only recommend 2. The Transgo brand and the Baumann Electronic Controls brand. I lean towards the Baumann, because it allows you fine tune the shift points, by installing different shims (supplied with kit) behind one of the springs in the valve body, and this can be done by just pulling the pan. I don't believe the Transgo is adjustable, but I may be wrong?. It won't make a huge difference by itself, but it's a great mod even if the car is stock, and can actually extend the life of the clutches because there's less slippage. I wouldn't hesitate to install one. Add a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gears, and you'll love it.

trans go makes good shift kits...if your running an automatic transmission, a shift kit with a trans cooler is very important

itll shift firmer and faster (helping acceleration) and itll make the tranny last longer. the higher tranny pressure means the clutches slip less so there is less heat produced and the parts last longer.

You can ONLY get a shift kit with an automatic transmission. I would definitely recommend a shift kit for an auto trans, they lack alot from the factory and its just one way of giving them a little boost back.

As far as brand goes, either one will do just fine. I have heard good things about both companies. Do your own research and see what you can come up with. See if you can compare them.

I would also recommend a trans cooler. They're cheap, they're easy to install and they're VERY worth it.
