First do a compression test. The valves may be staying open a little with the head/valvetrain change.

LX what is the compression ratio I should get from the test ? if they are open a bit then I will not get a compression on my engine, how do I fix it ? I try to check the timing but it doesn't do the explosion when I take out my #1 spark and then plug it with a napkin, could be this the problem ? please need info how to fix it or what to do. Thanks, Guys !

Make sure your getting spark at your plugs...if you arent check your tfi module on your distributor. If thats good and there's still no spark check your ignition switch.

It should be over 100psi per cylinder. If you can turn the engine over and get no pressure from the plug hole, then either your pushrods or too long or if you have adjustable rockers, they are too tight.

Yes I have adjustable rockers that is what I am going to do this weekend I think my valves are too tight, since when I was adjusting them my lifter were not fully charge with oil and I could see how the pushrod were pushing the lifters down not all of them but at least 4 of them. so I am goint to take apart again my upper and ajusted them this time not too tight. I will let you know what happen. Thanks for the tip.

I forgot to tell you The pushrod I used for this set up are 0.450, I hope they are the right size, the guy at Trickflow told me that they should be 0.750 but on the 5.0 magazine I read an article were they did the same upgrade for an 88 and they used 0.400 so I guess when I measure mine I came up with this reading.
