wind rushing noise with cold air intake

wind rushing noise with cold air intake
I bought the cheaper cai from american muscle for 80 bucks and installed it with no problems except for the wrong sized hose clamps that came with it.
When I accelerate now I hear a little a mild whoosing of air, is this because I bought a cheap cai, or do they all have that sound because more air is going into the intake?
