rusted rear brake lines, found my prob from my post earlier, What size are my brake lines, I bought a new brake line, put it into the wheel cyl, tightened it and the line has a little bit of play in side of the nut that plugs into the wheel cyl.

and i cant even get it to thread into the T on top of the diff. i thought i bought the right size. What size are the threads?

Not sure about the threads but the brake line is 3/16's and the fittings that come on them should be the correct size.

good i got the right ones, the T on the rear's threads are old and rusty just wanted to make sure the threads are right before I give it another go

Our brake lines are 3/16 yes, however the threads on the fittings are STANDARD.
After it started binding up in the wheel cyl destroying my threads completely when I took it out, I discovered our cars have standard thread brake lines. Not metric. So if anyone is doing their own brake lines, use the 3/16 lines with standard thread lol. or be like me and break stuff.
