That's why you don't drive through huge puddles...that and if it's deep enough and moving it can carry your car away. Pull codes and see what it says.

All of California was a huge puddle, all the streets blocked off. Couldn't even park in front of my own house.

Take alook at the ignition components. If there wet, its going to cause a running problem. Most autoparts stores sells a wrie dry. I would do a visual inspection of the engine bay. And pull the codes if the CEL is on as stated by the other poster.

if your car has a CAI and the filter is in the fender, it could of sucked up some water and contaminated the MAF, as the water enters the filter it can carry oil that is used to lubricate the filter and thus contaminate the maf sensor, clean the maf if such be the case and air dry filter

know how you feel, my neighborhood flooded. luckily i have a f150 on 37s for situations like this.

like others have said, clean the maf, check for codes and then go from there

We get some street flooding in places around here, but it's mostly ice/snow being in the mountains.

And I didn't even think of the CAI. But yeah, +1 to clean MAF and check for codes.
