Mustang Stock Stereo Removal?
first off this is a 1988 Mustang GT. With premium sound. as well, the stock cassette player.
Ok, ive heard about the ford removal keys But, there is no place to put the keys on this stereo. Ive pulled stereos before, but i cant find anywhere to remove this thing. The 4 little holes arent there. The stereo needs to come out so i can do some wiring and get the speakers installed, as well as fix the mistakes the previous owner made. Is there some different way to remove these stereos?

Yes it is a factory radio. Cant post a picture right now, due to the rain.

Looks just like this, without the holes.

can that outer piece come off? around the actual stereo? also there could be a metal strap attached to the back of the radio that bolts to the car. you should be able to see it from the passenger side. i think it bolts to where the center console bolts to (metal bracket)
