Default Using a aftermarket radiator overflow tank

For my 94 GT, I bought a 2.5 qt universal reservoir from auto zone and getting ready to install it. On the OEM reservoir there is a sensor, what do I do about the sensor? If I leave it unplug the coolant light will stay on. For those who have installed a different reservoir what did you do with the sensor?

Also on the reservoir to connect the overflow hose, there are 2 nipples one on top by the cap and one on the bottom. Which nipple do I use to connect the overflow hose? Do I use the bottom one and plug the top one? Or do I use the top one and plug the bottom one?
