Default Lack of full throttle power
I have a 93 gt convert, stock 5.0 HO the car idle nice and runs fine at part throttle but anything past half throttle just bogs the motor down, its dosen't sputter or die it just has no power. back of the throttle and it starts to recover.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

The cats are original. and the car is stock I tuned it cleaned the egr replaced filters. the car is running smoother but the full throttle problem continues

your cats could be clogged, unbolt the head pipes and see if your power magically returns

Had the same problem, got rid of the cats and ran off road x pipe bang problem fixed..

glenn,just got on this site.anyhow i am having same prob with mine which is the same year and car.did u ever find out the problem?
