what trans can i use in 1994 mustang gt
Hi guys i found out that my trans is no good so i was wondering what transmission i could use in my car. and also i was wondering whats the difference in a aod and aode trans and if it could be used in my car

ok well im going to say that 94 and up have the AODE and the 93 and under have the aod the difference is that the overdrive is electronically selected or turned off the aod u just get o/d no matter what.
the AODE has a crappy planetary ratio that gives you sloppy response with less than a 4.10 gear the best option is aftermarket aode with 4r70w internals!
oh my bad man you may consider not listening to my redneck tech opinions!
but when my AODE bites the dust i`ll be overhauling with the internal package no doubt!
runs about 400$ for the kit! as far as the AOD not being electronically controlled thats a very ignorant statement might i add! stick with the 5speeds there adderhole!
