What car's did the 302 mexican blocks come in?

I cant find any website or forum to where someone that "Really knows" where I can find A 302 mexican block, I want to look in the junk yards but I'm not sure what cars to look for and I don't really feel like checking every single 302 equipped car out on that yard, Too many!

So, Can anyone chime me in on what cars to look out for?

Ford SVO/FRPP A4 blocks have A4 in their part number on the pad under the starter. The complete part # starts with M6010-A4. They were produced between 1987 and 1997.

Ford installed these Mexican engines in a lot of utility vehicles. Scour the wrecking yards for Econoline vans, pickups etc. looking for the "M" or "Hecho". I did this in the 1980's and found several.

googled "5.0 mexican" block and found both of these in the first four, how true they are i don't know but if you're really interested there's a lot of information out there. This is a little more general discussion too.

just so you don't think I'm a dick here's some more info

I have one. I will get some pics in the areas it is stronger.

You can ID the block by looking on the front around the timing cover area. There are two riser plugs from the casting process on both sides of the cover. Also if the intake is off, there is Mexico cast in the lifter valley

They do not have greater nickel content, but have heavier mains and a thicker wall and deck. They are approx 25% stronger than a 5.0 block.

The block is almost identical to a HiPo 289, and FRPP Sportsman block.
