Default Blinking battery light.

Was out for a drive in the stang yesterday when I looked down on then dash and noticed the battery light blinking dimly. Obviously some sort of electrical issue. Can I get a suggestion on where to begin troubleshooting?

Start by checking/cleaning connections on the alternator.

And clean your battery connections and ride it up to the advance (or any parts store) and have them use the digital tester to see if you're charging correctly

Pretty sure one of the wires from the pigtail is just for that. If may be shorting, my was and was causingg my light to blink.
