I'm curious to know what you guys think of the new pontiac gto coming out. It looks like a beast on paper. I actually like to body styling of it. It's supposed to have the LS1 with 350hp and 365lbs or torque with 5.3 0-60 time.

Ya I got the december motor trend all about it. Its the same engine as the corvette. Runs a pretty good 13.6 @ 104 too. They are thinking about doing the "Judge" GTO and that would use the LS6 they say with around 400 horsepower. Price around $33,000.

That judge would be bad, but hopefully they wont put a fatty wing on the back and paint it orange with judge stripes.

its too heavy and slow. low 14s with the LS1 come on now. it needs to be in the low 13s to gain respect from the GM crowd. and at 30+ its not worth the money. low 14s for 30+ ill pay 24g and get the same results from a truck. [i have one and it runs in the times]

if your paying anywhere nere 30+ it better be in the 13s on a bad day.

a 13.6 isnt in the 13s its in the 14s ? What are you talking about ohsoquick02. It goes 104+ in the quarter I dont think its that slow at all.

i seen an article where it went 14.0 at 102mph. that was what i was referring to. but even at mid 13s not worth it.

I picked up the motor trend and car & driver on it. Overall I don't find it very impressive. It looks blah, can you say 99 GTP. Its to costly for what you get...its screams balding executive.
