Question Oil Temp Sender Install

I want to install an oil temp sender on my stock 1990 Mustang 302 V8, setup is supplied by Smith's Classic gauges(mechanical, not electrical setup).

Other than the oil pressure sender position on my block(already in use), what do I do?

Thanks for any advice!

Like tohoopty said you will have to put it in the oil pan, for it to be accurate.

Do you have an oil level sender in the pan from the factory? If so, I would remove that sender, and install the temp sender in that hole. You'll need a special adapter that's generally not available. Mike Forte at www.fortesparts.com makes them. He generally has a few on the shelf.
