Default Fusible link replacement?

Hi All -

I have determined that the FUSIBLE LINK needs to be replaced (wire is broken).

I am wondering about replacing it with an actual in line fuse. It is the 14 guage link, but what would be the proper amperage?
Am thinking about a push button reset fuse, rather than one that needs to be replaced.

Any suggestions?

Thanks VBSanta in Mesa, AZ

Default

Spliced in a 12 gauge wire and discovered that the integrated voltage regulator was fried as well. Replaced that, hooked everything back up, and turned the key.

WaHooo -- runs like a top again.
