Default SN95 Alternator Bracket

I have a set of really nice valve covers that the alternator will not clear.

What have you done to elevate that?
Pics and measurements would be very helpful.

Im interested in brackets; relocating brackets. Keeping it on the pass side though.

I took a block of aluminum and a plate to brace. Relocate bolt on top about 1.5" This was necessary for BBK covers. I have pictures and come daylight can get accurate measurements.

AFAIK, there are no mainstream bracket replacements for the SN-95. You either need to notch the valve covers, or design your own bracket.

I have a set of stamped steel edelbrocks that clear, but i cant vent the crankcase pressure with them. These valve covers are not getting touched.
Im working with the owner of a company to get a bracket developed, so we can stop having so much trouble with these front accessories.

I have seen a few SN95's at car shows that just use a short piece of aluminum or steel bar(about 1.5 to 2 in.) To just lift the alternator up a bit

All it really needs is to be rotated away from the center of the car slightly. So even a spacer and small metal strap from the top bolt would help tons!

I'll probably do this when I come home from this deployment

Default try this

Try this it works for me. Take a 1" block of aluminum 2.25" long and 1.5" wide. In a press drill hole to accommodate a 5/16" bolt. Bolt needs to be 3.75" long need a nut for bolt. Use piece of aluminum 1/4" thick 1.25" wide and 2.75" long. Weld block with hole to alternator bracket make sure alternator is aligned with hole . Bracket was off car when I did this. Then put a slight curve on thinner piece to form a brace on top, weld this piece.
