Default Intake manifolds

which would u all recommend?
GT-40 intake 599.99 RPM range idle-5500
trickflow street efi 395 rpm range idle-5500
trickflow track heat 450 rpm range 1500-6500

those are pretty much the ones i want since it will match my cams rpm range? and i am trying to match parts so do u think i am doing it right or if u have a better suggestion please feel free to tell me thanks in advance

Default RE: Intake manifolds

what are your other mods right now?

another option to consider would be to get the lower intake ported if you are staying with the stock heads for a while.

I've heard that the GT40 is better overall, but the Trick Flow Street Heat is cheaper. I would go with the Trick Flow if I had the money.

5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords did a test on the various "street" intakes, and the GT40 won hands down. All the other intakes lost power at low RPMs, and didn't make quite as much, even if it was only a 5hp diff, at high RPMs. They are all better than stock, but the GT40 is better across the whole range. I have an Explorer intake, and it made a nice difference, woudn't even consider something else but the GT40 now.
