Steering squeaks when turning slow
If I make a turn at a really slow speed or say a dry turn then I get this creaking/squeaking sound. There also seems to be a little play in the wheel that wasn't there before. This has seemed to come on too suddenly for something to be worn out or something I think. It almost seems as if something is let go.
I am wondering if there are some areas I could check out or if there is something that commonly causes this sort of noise.
I took a picture while I was under the car the other day because I though the steering shaft didn't look right. Is this how it is supposed to look or has it slipped or something?
