88 5.0 manual into 92 manual issue... HELP!
I,m new here and have spent hours online trying to figure this out. I really appreciate any help. I recently crashed my super charged 88 5.0 manual with a MAF conversion and chipped computer. car was dyno'd and chipped for large MAF and 40# injectors and so on. So... I bought a 92 GT minus drivetrain. I put my drive train in including chipped computer using the 92 under dash harness and engine compartment harness. But I had to use the 88 3 wire 0/2 sensors and their harness. Car will start but runs so rich that it will stall if idleing too long. Should I be using a 92 0/2 harness and 4 wire sensors? what controls the mixture when in open loop?

Well honestly, I understood from the local wrecking yard that I bought the 92 shell from that 88-92 5.0 manual trans cars were an easy plug and go swap.So I didn't bother with any research before the swap ( i know i know) and since all the connectors plugged in and it ran, I figured I was ok.Plus after pulling both clusters I see big differences in their electrical connections. Plus now the 88 hulk is gone. So does anyone know if the injection harnesses interchange? I know the 02 sensor harness is different but can it be repinned properly? Thanks everyone.

Well I repinned my 02 harness and it's good to go. Now I'm struggling with the white ten pin connector behind the plenum. Of course the wire colors differ from 88 inj harness to 92 engine harness. I've been to veryuseful.com and fordfuelinjection.com and still there are wire color issues. If anyone out there has a late 92/93 5.0 mustang I really need a list of wire colors at the white ten pin connector or even a clear picture of it! Please!!!!!! I'm not much of an electrician as far as rebuilding the harness. Repinning a few wires I can do. Any help would be awesome!
