Temp Control ****

My temp control **** is hard to turn from cold to heat or back? Is there any tips on how to fix this? can i lube it?

Remove hvac control head disconnect temp cable from control. If control moves freely disconnect cable at plenum and see if cable is binding. I can stop, the rest is evident.
