Got an '87 GT with an Edelbrock carburater, and a B&M Megashifter. Ive noticed when Im in D ( shifter goes like P, R, N, OD, D then 1) it goes from first gear through third fast. It does quick shifts around 2k RPM. Is there a possible way to change the shift points of first to second and second to third?

Basically asking, is this a throttle valve cable problem? Do these cables come pre-adjusted? Is there a writeup on how to adjust them? And can someone show me a setup of their Edelbrock carb and AOD transmission IF possible.

- dont know which Carb from EB i have.
- could i suffer transmission damage?

thats pretty normal for a AOD

you need to do a manual valvebody. look at lentech, if u mess with line pressure you'll smoke it
