Transmission swap?

Transmission swap?
hey guys i've got a few quick questions for you on a transmission and rear setup. i used to own a 93 gt with a vortech suppercharger and all your average bolt ons and a little more. it was pushing about 400 hp and 450 lbs of torque with the stock rear and stock t-5 trans. i am currently thinking about picking up a 1990 with a 347 stroker and a small v-1 vortech supercharger. it has the stock gears and rear and stock t-5. i was wondering if the stock rear and stock t-5 will be able to hold the power its putting out. its got ever motor mod possible alluminum heads, intake, cams, etc. i've been told by some people that the t-5 stock will handle the power no problem as long as i have a heavy duty clutch. will it work out or if not whats my best route a rebuilt t-5? a strengthen t-5 from an aftermarket company? or just taking the big step to a tko500. thanks alot guys.

i kinda figured it would you really can't **** with the t-5 its a strong tranny its just that its got 187XXX miles on it i believe so most likely ill just get a rebuild on it so a rebuilt t-5 should hold it pretty well i think. i just don't know how much that will run me and i dont miss shift lol. also does anyone running a 347 in their car with 50lb injectors and two fuel pumps? how bad is my mpg gunna be?
