Unhappy Possible spun bearing?

Possible spun bearing?
Hey guys,

i am trying to figure this out, i just had my engine rebuilt, and after turning it on for the first time in 2 years, white smoke started coming out the tail pipes very bad. i bought a new oil sender and my oil reads a little above normal, yet i am not getting any oil to my heads, and my lifters are talking to me. also when i drive i feel like im driving a 4 cyl. horrible power loss. i check the dipstick and it reads a little over full, its not black or mixed colored i had put 5 qts. could it maybe be the oil pump? that is the only thing i didnt buy new, i just transferred it from my old engine to the new.

i have e303 cam/ gt 40 iron cast / tfs valve springs / gt 40 tubular intake

thanks in advance
-Daniel

Well a spun bearing wouldn't cause no oil delivery, you'd notice metal shavings in the oil and develop a knock or worse. Sounds like you may have a blockage, hate to say it but you're engine will probably need to come back apart

Horrible power... among other possible problems, is your timing set right?

My timing is good, it turns off occasionally at idle but it could be a
Vacuum leak. And I did an oil change, after about 20 miles and it poured out
Like sewage water, it honestly looked more like water than oil.
I cut open the filter but didn't see anything and also ran a magnet
Around the bottom oil pan to see if anything is there but nothing,
I took off my valve cover at start and absolutely no oil. And about 2-3 gear it starts knocking and feels like it's gonna blow.

k first off, oil is going to look almost like water if hot.

you should have primed the oil pump before start-up

Ok, WAS it water in your oil? You said it reads a little higher than normal, was that the gauge or the dipstick? If its the dipstick and there's too much oil in it that looks like water, along with white smoke, maybe a head gasket? Is the coolant low?

Dunno about the valve covers being squeaky clean. Roller lifters?

Its probably valve tick rather than a knock, you're top end is working itself to death. And Project 5.GO! Water in the oil isn't going to raise pressure, its viscosity level is 0. I would tear apart the engine and inspect, may be unpleasant but going to have to deal with it. I would then have a machine shop inspect the top end of the engine. I am still thinking you have a blockage, would increase pressure and can stop oil from reaching your heads

I tried to prime it earlier but it just kept spinning, counter clock wise of course. Shouldn't it had gotten stiff? It did not

Also could my lifters be causing the no oil pressure? Or stopping anything?

I was asking if the reading he took was from the dipstick or gauge.
