I just did a trickflow stage 1 HCI swap and was just at 300 and the twisted wedge heads have bigger valves and flow better. If you ported the hell out of them maybe all you have really added to the cobra heads is the rockers and a cam which is not going to net you a whole lot more then the cobra did.

I have almost the same setup on my 5.0 mine needs tuned still yet, but it dyno ran 285hp to the motor. I lack a cam but I have everything else you have on yours, I also need to get mine tuned, I am guessing 300 motor HP after the tune so maybe 270rwhp? I would guess a nice cam would get me near 290RWHP maybe I dunno, maybe not.

I have GT40 uppers and lowers, and BBK CAI but other than that mine looks to the T same as yours even the same parts, I have 1.8RR.

are you saying you have Gt40p's or trickflows? 285 hp with a stock cam? That would be impressive.

with 6lbs of boost from a kenne bell my gt40ps and stock cam made 390 hp

Yep, I can't remember for sure its been a long time. A car show was going on and my car was able to jump on a dyno for free. It was 280 or 285HP to the motor.

With the maximum amount of port work on my GT40p's, I made 280hp with everything else STOCK. But I was also told my car was a freak.

I must be doing something wrong then for all these untuned cars with a few add ons and a port job on cobra headers to be pushing 300 so easily.....
