radiator and rad hose questions
Hey guys I have a few questions I need answered so I don't have problems later.
1. How much pressure is running through the cooling system/radiator hoses?
2. Will a very slight kink in the lower rad hose give me issues?
3. Whats the horsepower limit on a stock radiator?
4. If my rad hose touches the turbo header will it melt? I'm gonna wrap both the turbo header and radiator hose with header wrap.
I have a aftermarket griffin radiator and its a little larger width wise that the stock rad. So the radiator hose has a slight kink to fit around my turbo header.
Thanks guys

1 up to whatever your cap is rated for, it should say
2 yes, restriction of flow can create issues
3 as mentioned in another thread, there really isn't a hp limit, but you may just want to up the capacity say if you run the engine hard a lot.
4 I advise against it, it could melt the hose even with header wrappers

look around on the net, they have radiator hoses that're metal pipes with silicone ends, a muffler chop could bend the lines up but without a mandrel bender they're going to be really kinked.
If you're radiator hose is touching the header it will melt, without a doubt.
