whats up guys. i recently encountered a new problem. i just rebuilt my engine with almost everything new. my car starts to jerk/buck between 1500 to 2500. sometimes it bucks really bad and sometimes it doesnt. the bucking will calm down a little if i just shift. i also have a hanging idle. it sticks at about 2000rpm and then comes down to 12-1300rpm. from there it surges between 1200rpm and about 1500rpm. the rpm's also stay up when i push in the clutch between gears. i have changed my EGR, IAC, adjusted voltage on TPS to .98, changed O2 sensors. the mods it has is holley systemax ii, 24lb venom injectors, bbk 75mm MAF, acufab 75mm tb. all those are new onlything not new is the shorty headers. and i get an engine check light on for a few seconds while driving. its driving me nuts! thanx in advance.

NO VACUUM LEAKS AND I RAN CODES AND SOLVED THE CODES. WITCH WAS THE O2 SENSORS AND EGR

The maf is a good possibility, are you sure its calibrated properly for your setup? Have you also checked for vacuum leaks?

i have checked for vacuum leaks and i dont seem to have any. i have changed the MAF with another 24lb MAF and its still the same. thinking it might be the TFI. will post if i fix the problem.
