Default Painting window molding

Anybody paint there own window molding? The black paint on mine is all faded. Would like to respray it black. Did anybody do this?

Was thinking bout taping off windows, spraying prime and spraying black paint an maybe clear

Are you talking about the pillars that surround doors? It would be much better to remove them , sand , prime , paint , and clear. I find when painting individual parts like that you get a much more even looking coat when you remove the part .

I didn't. Know I could remove them. I would much rather remove. Can the trim around the rear quarter windows be removed to?

yea all of it comes off . You have to pull the inside plastic molding around the head liner and in the back the plasic off the inside to access all the nuts. I believe they are all 10mm
