I've been having a ton of coolant burning and in my oil and yesterday i found it wasn't the new intake gaskets so now i want to confirm whether or not i have a blown head gasket. But i don't want to reassemble the whole intake just to find out i have low compression and have to tear it back apart for the 4th time.
So could i test the compression with the intake manifold off?
it's a head gasket, pump air in the cylinder and watch for air bubbles in the coolant or a rise, since the intake is off, just watch the coolant port in the heads for such

I don't know how to do that... Also i had to drain the coolant to remove the lower intake.

well with no coolant, it'll be tough, try the compression test, but you should just pull the heads, cause if it isn't the intake then you gotta go deeper = head gaskets
