Default brakes squeaking after lowering

Just like the title says. I just lowered my 94 cobra and installed new struts. No squeak before at all, now when im coming to a stop i get a squeak right before i start braking from the front. Once the brake is applied the squeak goes away. All i did was unbolt the caliper assembly off the rotor and installed right back on the same way i took off so what gives..? Help me!

Do you get the squeak if you just bounce the front of your car up and down manually?

Well... That's sorta f'd... What happens if you take the calipers off and repeat? Dead silence? (I was really hoping your A-arm bushings were just in a bind from the lowering...)

If so... My first step would be to flush the old break fluid until "clean" (clear), thoroughly clean/polish (wire wheel/brush) the guide pins, re-lubricate/reassemble with PROPER caliper grease, and bleed the calipers until you think they're good.

That's the $5 approach (literally... caliper grease is cheap)... After that, it costs real money and I'm out of genuine solutions...

You may have gotten oil/grease on the rotor or brake pads. Or you installed the calipers incorrectly without enough lube in the slide points. Good luck...

The center of gravity change effects braking. You need to put grease on all contact points of the pads to the calipers, and the pads to the caliper bracket/slides. This includes the back of the pads where the "claw" of the caliper grabs the outer one, and the spot on the inside pad where the caliper piston actually contacts.

Thanks guys!! I took everything off and on the drivers side one of the claws attached to the pad was actually detached from the actual pad.., maybe that was my prob.
so heres what iam going to do within the next 2 days.

I will have the disc's resurfaced., new high performance pads.., grease everything up., and a new set of clips.
I also started painting the calipers aswell! Black or red on a black car, what would you go with.?
