Yeah, as I said, the clips don't look that great out of the package, so I would definitely assume they'll need some love after a year of being exposed to the elements. I like the look of the black UPR setup, so if I have to refresh the clips here and there with some chrome paint, so be it, I guess!

UPDATE:
Car is back from the body shop. They were able to bend the cowl panel back and repaint. I couldn't be happier with their work. Can't even tell it ever happened. Below is one before pic and two after pics (note the new hood pins!)
