With all due respect dawson (honestly, I have no bone to pick with you), BS... Out of time would still do SOMETHING... I've seen a mis-dropped dizzy shoot gas on the windshield and make 3 foot tall FIREBALLS out of a carb before. It would be clearly obvious, even with EFI, if it was even attempting to ignite fuel.

If i were to offer any technical advice (begrudgingly at this point), it would be to run over the wiring with a fine tooth comb to make sure nothing is F'd...

I say F*$k him. Seamed rude right off the bat. Let him figure it out for himself. He's done several motor swaps bla bla bla. He shouldn't need help at this point.

I'd have to agree w Dawson. Try running a compression test. If you have fuel, spark (good spark), and air, the only other option has to be compression. Otherwise like the rest of the guys said, it would still try to do something. Whats your timing set at?
