Ok lets go back for a moment to the casting number and break it down.
E6SE
E=1980s 6=the 6th year S=thunderbird E= Engine Engineering
What you would like to see if your looking for an 89 block from a mustang is this
E9ZE
Again E=80s 9= the 9th year Z= Mustang E =Engine Engineering.
So any thing from E7ZE - E9ZE would be a 87-89 mustang
Anything from F0ZE-F3ZE would be 90-93 mustang. Because F is the ford code for the 90s.
