HEADS - yes as mentioned, but i would get afr 185's, if yiurs are gt40p's you can port them.

CAM - a comp cam in the 274 - 28O duration range WITH 112 - 110 LSA.

COMPRESSION - You need at least 10 to 1 static compression with these cams.

Thank you all for your feed back. Sorry that it took me so long to respond, I am in the HVAC business and its winter in western PA..... non stop.... Well heres my latest. After much looking and hunting i found a 302 block and an amazing amazing price. $50 and it came on a brand new engine stand. I called out local machine shop and hes gonna build me a 347 stroker. Told him my goals and hes gonna call me back in a few days with a price. My next question is.... I am thinking about buying the UPR K-member and A arms and bothing the new engine into there and then just lowering the car down over the new k-member/engine. Would love to hear all your feed back. Thank you again. Oh and yes suspension is next.

The UPR k-member kit is a great choice! And we have free ground shipping right now, which saves a TON on the k-member kit, because the box is so big. Just send me a PM and I'll hook you up.
