radiator fan

radiator fan
Hey guys! I've been trying to help a buddy of mine with a 94 mustang get his radiator fan running. I've checked the fan and it works. It has ground but it is not getting 12 volts to either low or high side wires. I grounded the ECT sensor and the fan still didn't come on. I've replaced the CCRM on this car about three times now. Do you think it can be bad again? We kept buying an BWD brand from advance auto parts. Do you think we need to find a Ford part? I'd hate to think these things keep burning out. Any advice is much appreciated!

Also are you sure its reaching a high enough temp for it to come on? It shouldn't come on till about 205degrees I believe. One thing is to unplug the ect and it should default the fan on , grounding it shows infinite resitance. This will tell the ecm the temp is cold. Open or very low resistance is telling the ecm that coolant is hot.
