Where Does The PCV Hose Go To?

Where Does The PCV Hose Go To?
Hey Guys,
Just trying to clean up some vacuum lines and find a potential leak. Couple of questions for you :
1) The PCV was previously just blocked off. How would this effect the car?
2) I have since bought a PCV kit but am not sure as to where the hose goes...under the upper intake?
3) I have a new Typhoon Upper Intake with some pretty skimpy instructions so I am unclear as to what vacuum lines go to the upper intake. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!

If it had open breather oil caps a blocked pcv wouldn't have caused a problem, you would just smell crankcase fumes. The pcv valve mounts in the back of the intake with the hose running to the back of the drivers side valve cover. A pcv system needs clean air to replace what is sucked out so a hose from the oil filler neck runs to the air tract after the filter.

Thanks for the reply Chuck. I am however still confused. Here are some pics of the upper intake and accessories. Can anyone breakdown where exactly the vacuum hoses go with what accessories? On pic #2 of the intake, I presume this valve goes on the bottom but I am not certain. Here is what the instructions say:
"8. The stock vacuum tree has been eliminated. Use the 3/8"
NPT 90° elbow and 3/8" NPT hose fitting in the rear of the
Upper Plenum. Fit the 1/8" NPT to 3/16" hose fitting in the
rear facing 1/8" NPT boss on the crossover (next to EGR
plate). Use the supplied vacuum line and "tee" to feed the
fuel pressure regulator and the MAP sensor from this source

The stock pcv application runs from the rear of the lower intake. That is where the pcv valve is located. I know it says the vac tree is eliminated but I would run a big line from the 90 to your vac tree on the firewall.

Thanks for the reply Chuck. So if I understand correctly, one line goes from the tree on the firewall to the underside of the upper intake (the 90). I have the PCV valve in the lower intake but not sure where that line goes? Does it go into the side of the upper intake?

The line off the pcv ties in to the vac off the upper intake and then also tees to another line in the intake above the driver side (left) valve cover in stock applications. You just want it to have a direct run to manifold vacuum. So come off that 90 to a t. One side to the pcv and the other to the tree. You just don't want the crankcase fumes running through the vac tree or other lines.

Thanks Chuck...greatly appreciate the advice. So the vacuum line that comes out of the PCV goes into a "T" where one section goes to the 90 at the bottom of the upper intake and the other section goes to the "S" on the tree...correct?
In regards to the Barometric Air Pressure Sensor, where does this line go to?

I'm basing all this on stock intakes but yeah what you've drawn is what I'd do. The baro, or MAP, sensor gets its vacuum from the intake on stock non maf applications. The firewall tree feeds the brake booster, cruise control, and hvac. You may need to add some more tees to feed other things like emissions and fuel pressure regulator.

Here's a vac diagram of a speed density car. Since you only have one port to work with you'll need a few more tees. Is there a vac port on your throttle body?
