No Heat!!
Hello peoples, my friend fired up his 89 mustang GT for the first time 3 weeks ago for the first time in about 4 months, he bought the car in the summer of 2003 so he didn't notice the heat wasn't working, anyways, he has a blown header gasket (or head gasket.. i forget, he has a exaust leak because of it) and the thermomiter in his engin is broke, his hot water gauge doesnt work because of it being broken, thats all thats wrong with his engin, does anyone have any idea why his heat isnt working? If the car is runing for about a hour and he turns on the hear it blows hear for like 5 seconds then starts blowing cold air agian...

No Heat!!
i could be the hot ,cold door not being open , the cable its self being broken , and the door being in the cold position , cxheck that before you assume something, feel the heater core hoses to see if there is a blockage , or if its leaking insid e the car or out the drain ,
