Default Manual valve body

I have a 94 gt auto, and I have been looking into giving my stang the semi-auto shifting ability. I heard from another forum member about a manual valve body. Will that give me what I want, and if not what else would I need?

Old school tech, would make it so the tranny wouldn't shift on its own, but that you would have to do it.

I don't know if you can use these on new cars.

Default Manual valve body

I just overhauled the AODE in my wifes '94 GT. There are only two wires that the computer uses to shift the trans. It's easy to override the computer and shift manually. There is a simple sequence of grounding the two wires to go thru the 4 gears. I didn't look at how they did the torque converter clutch all that close but just going 1-2, 2-3 ,3-4 is easy.
