hey i say go for it. i am thinking of doing it also my self. also if you want any more real info then look at ls1stang.com and ls1tech.com and go to the Conversions & Hybrids section. there are alot of guys on ls1 tech doing the same swap. so far i know of about 8 mustang hybrids up and running.

Ok to all of you dumb****s this is the guy that has the 350 and it seems as if you are all very confused and dont know your *** from a whole in the ground. If he goes with a 350 or a 351 he will still have to change out motor mounts, tranny and mounts, rear-end, and since he is currently running a carbed 4 banger than fuel injectors would make no sense on either of the motors. And to all of you who dont know the difference in a big block and a small block cheyv you should check before you start talking ****
P.S Last time I looked in jegs it seemed a whole lot easier to find parts for my small block chevy than ford parts

I can't stand to see a chevy engine in any Ford. If you put a chevy engine in a stang you should be kicked of this forum-LOSER

Kick me off, I don't care! I posted this forum I found so others that interest in doing the swap would have a place to go instead of having to deal withpeople like you. Bottom line!
