Chevy In A Ford
#11
Street or full race use? You could build the 302 block to with stand that mush horsepower...
The worst one I seen was at school, some guy bought a Mustang with some sort of Buick engine in it...ewww....
Anyway, not only are you molesting a four eye, those chevy valve covers just don't look right in the Fox engine bay. The only Chevy swap that would be semi-decent, would be an LS1, cause it takes some thought to get some of that stuff working instead of throwing in a 1st gen 350 in it since every one has those in their backyards.

actually no it is quite easier so it seems, after a little searching there is a K member i can buy and a set of headers i can get that make this swap pretty easy. theres a market out there for it, its not quite as big but its there. and like RVC said American Muscle is American muscle its still a mustang, just with a different heart. im still gonna be beating imports either way =D

Its easy.
I did this to an old 86 4 banger. My buddy runs circle track cars and i acquired a fully built 388 in a trade.
Besides lining everything up you will need to fab up motor stands for your mounts to bolt to and a cross member for the tranny. You will also need a fabbed up driveshaft.
I sold the car and its still running around with the 388.
Not what i would do with a vehicle i would keep but i had no issues selling it seems a lot more people than i thought like that odd ball bastardization.lol
Its yours man go for it just dont expect any love from the die hard ford enthusiasts.Again i wouldnt do this to a vehicle i planned to keep but i had a good body stang and a good motor and wanted to sell them both.

yea man, just get a camaro and it will work 100% and you won't have to ruin a mustang. I have respect for the chevy's AND fords, but don't mix them. Have one or the other, or both, not a half breed of inbetween.
