Default Would this find a vacuum leak?

i'm kinda curious to see if i have a vacuum leak and the carb cleaner hasen't worked yet. i googled vacuum leak tester and this popped up

If not what is the appropriate name for the machine i'm looking for.....even though i'm sure its way out of my budget

save your money and take it to a shop and have them run a smoke tester on it.
Be extremely careful using carb cleaner it can catch on fire.

^^smoke test ftw!!!! that's all we use nowadays.....finds any and all leaks in seconds

I made my own smoke tester, $20 Kmart fog machine ftw!

I love them, with out them it would be a headache trying to find some vacuum leaks.

I looked and looked and looked for a vacuum leak with carb cleaner. It ended up being a bad connection on the ect sensor. Run the wiggle test and see what pops up. You may even find a vacuum leak if your lucky.

You could do that, watch the psi you put into it. My smoke machine can run at a minimum of 50psi and usually turn the air pressure down to that because if it is to high it can push some vacuum hoses off.

can someone please tell me more of this smoke test from shops? i know people who blow cigarette smoke to find leaks but never heard of a machine that does it?!? any links
