Default Dont you hate..

Well i have my fox on craigslist for 2500$ which is actually a very good deal because for 1. it passed CA smog. 2. Its never been hit. 3. the ash tray door works!. 4. its a daily driver(hard to come by).. Then i get an interested buyer and they come over and say " it kbb's at 1400$ in good shape.. will you take 1200$ for it?" i was like.. AHHAHAAHHAHAHA and practically kicked them off my property. I told him to go find an even salvaged titled non op fox 5.0 for 1200 then come back to me.

God i hate people who waste my time. Explain your "extreme low ball" stories if you must!

If this is for your white 5.0, 2500$ is very reasonable price. If it was on sale 6 month ago I would be at your door with $.

one more reason I don't bother with people who bring up kbb for a mustang, mustangs should be sold to an enthusiest who understands the market for such not some whore that wants the cheapest BJ he can find

I think that goes for any performance/enthusiast car. I had a 1990 240sx coupe, all stock original condition. complete power package with working HUD and sunroof on sale for 2000$. I had a Dad come with his son to look at it, he generously offered me 1300$ based on KBB. Next day I had an enthusiast come with his friend, car was sold for the asking price.

yea i do..

i had an 88LX hatch that just needed a battery, starter solenoid and a radiator. posted it up for $2200. when people came to look at it i attached my solenoid and battery and fired it up for them. some guy offered me 800 and said it needed more work than it was worth yada yada. that was my 3rd fox but basically 6th between me and my buddy who owned that car together. eventually we just wanted to get rid of it needing cash and it was taking up space. they guy called again and offered 1200 so we took it. the NEXT FU(KING DAY it was posted back up on CL for $2500 and he didnt even replace n e thing! WTF!

People like to negotiate. Rarely ever do people pay what you are asking. Sometimes they do though. That is why it is always good to start high.

The ash tray door works!(LOL) I think 87-93 is what but mustangs back on the map there are becoming true classic car! Great drag car! I wouldn't sell it for a penny less for what your asking.I would hold on to it, until you find the right buyer it worth what you asking........
