Ive got them. They were on the car when i bought it. My alternator is upgraded. I also have an aluminum radiator and electric fan. So i have no cooling problems. Personally i too think there a waste of money myself. I may change them later to some stock pulleys.
This has nothing to do with the post, but i was reading your car details and i seen the "king cobra" clutch, how is that working for ya? I wanna upgrade mine.
Not worth the $$$ to me, had them on my 1990 & was glad when I removed them. Volts would go up/down all the time. While driving at night, you could see the lights dim considerably while at a light. Just my .02

Off the subject...I have a king cobra on my 90 & it works great.
if all you want to do is reduce pully drag on the motor .....i would have to say go electric
electric water pump and cooling fan and mayber get a belt that eleminates your ac compressor ....if you want to run your ac just put the belt on if not dont
I had a march under drive pulley kit and on my 83 gt stock it did seem to help the top end a bit. On my 351w the pulleys made a he'll a difference but caused the motor to overheat so I got rid of them.
In the 10 + years I've ran the March Performance Power and Amp UD pulleys and still running the stock WP and ALT; I've never had a issue with either an over heating or a charging issue.
