Hi guys. I have a 1990 Coupe w/351w.
Now as for the tranny i have a c5 from a 1982 f100. I've heard the c5's were a better trans because of the bigger oiling passages.
Is it worth building up or no?
Second i believe it has a big bell w/167 tooth. My question is can i use a small bell from a c4?
Any help is appreciated thx guys.

yes you can use it . You have a 164 tooth or a 157 tooth flex plate if it is the big one then it will be the 164. you can swap the bells yes but you may also need to swap converters when you do due to the C5 bells being deeper. If you use this C5 trans I would also swap out the Valve Body when you put it in a C5 has a Hyd. lock up converter and is not real good for performance. So change out the bell the converter and the V/B and you are good to go.
