adder is right when i was at the dealer my pos i bought to get to school and back needed an alignment cus it was causing major tire wear to the outsides (horrible negative toe) anyways i set it right with those crap tires, then when i got new tires the car was driving all over the place and i had to set it up again.

ever thought of checking to make sure that you tie rods and ball joints are good?
bad tierods will wear the outside of the tire and badd ball joints will wear the inside of the tire.
i had bad wear on the outside of my tire. come to find out my inner tie rods were shot to ****. so i replaced the steering rack and the outer tie rods while i was doing it. then got an alignment with a new set of tires and now i dont have any odd tire wear.
just something to look into

I got new tires for my car. I started noticing uneven wear on my tires. It took me like 8 months to get an alignment for some reason and at the time the wear was noticeable. The wear was on the outer should of the two front tires. Well, when i got my alignment, I thought that would solve everything and stop the uneven wear. So is it true when a tire has uneven wear before an alignment, it will still wear unevenly? Or is this just bs and the tire company is just trying to sell me tires?
It is absolutely true.
Back in the olden days we used to have the tread cut to fix it.

Yes I have checked my tie rods. They are tight and the guy who aligned my car said they are good. The guy owns a pretty reputable shop. Here is my plan. I got a good deal on two Michelin tires that have 80% thread wear, there is any uneven wear. I want to replace my crappy worn tires with the the Michelins. Will I still have issues? should i get my car aligned again?

i prob would get it done again with the new tires since you were having bad tread wear before.
and stop buying used tires lol
also have you done suspension mods? you may need CC plates..

I'll have them check it again. Come on give me a break I can't afford new tires. I am only 17. The only reason i bought the new ones is because they are in good condition. I do not have any suspension mods. I know if i did i would need a CC kit

So if you get aftermarket springs or struts, you HAVE to get CC plates? Can you explain why? Im wanting to do a front suspension upgrade myself here pretty soon.

I got the used tires installed. it has been 200 miles and there isn't any uneven wear. It started as I needed an alignment, I got new tires, the new tires got a uneven wear pattern, got the alignment, tires crapped out, and now im running the used tires and im not having any problems what so ever
