What are you looking for/ what are you intentions with the car. Looks to me like its someones "drag" car, so its probably had a hard life.

If your looking for a project this would be a decent car provided its straight and rust free. If your looking for something to buy and just cruise around in, I would look else where, the carb conversion, slicks and skinnys, and aluminum drag seats scream head ache imo.

what do you want from the car? for a daily driver that car would be a definite no, even if you wanted a drag car I would look elsewhere, look in the Raleigh craigslist, they have more listings than the eastern nc one

ok i will look elsewhere...i really just wanted something older that was a stick. The last time I drove a stick was like 2 years ago and it was a 93 fiesta with like 69 hp. I wanted something with decent hp but not expensive and more of a dd. I dont currently plan on making a drag car, but we all know that plans change.

hey bojangles, if I see anything in New Bern or Pamlico County, I'll get in touch. I've seen a blue LX sitting a few miles from my house and it hasn't moved in 2 months....I'm waiting to see a for-sale sign on it. I wouldn't bother with the carb'd car....I think I've seen it run at the strip in New Bern and if so, it's been thrashed.

Just in case you're still looking, I haven't forgot ya. There's a red LX hatch at Tucker creek auto sales on Hwy. 70 in Havelock....has a cowl hood and looked like chrome Cobra R wheels. Also saw a blue and titanium GT in New Bern, it's in front of the strip mall next to Fuel Warehouse on Glenburnie Road. I'll try to get a phone # some time this week.
