Default Better Stock Radiators

Anyone know what vehicle I can grab a radiator off of that is better than our stock ones? I don't want to shell out the money for an aftermarket aluminum one. The 100 deg texas heat really makes the stock radiator work lol. I already have a lincoln elec fan so don't suggest that.....

get a new stock rad from the parts house. They come with warranties!

Ive been using one for 3 years now on my stroker, and I never see more than 200° temps... Even when we had our 100° heat wave, not in traffic... nothing.

If I have been beating on it and then sit I see up to 210* driving it usually doesn't go much over 190. I think some of it may be with the DCC fan controller I am working with now too. I know it doesn't give it full power all the time like I would like it to but its what I have to work with. It does great in 80-90 degree heat though!

Rodger dodger.....

Ok and for the thought of just having something better than mustang stock what is there? I am not really worried about the motor being too hot ( and yes I know I asked because of the temps adder so there is no need for the attitude that newbs get) but cooler is better. This thing has seen well over 280 before and has never had an issue. I also thing it would just be beneficial to more than just me if the info is out there.

I got a silla. Fits like a stock one but it is 180 shipped. 1-3/4" in total tube size blah blah blah.

Are you looking for a better than brand new stock radiator or better than a 20 year old radiator.

My point is a fresh stock replacement radiator will cool most bolt on Mustangs with ease.

I got an aluminum huge 2 core on ebay = the ones people say are cheap just cause they are priced between 160-180 and let me tell you the welds on that thing looked excellent and is in my 89 and temps don't get over 180 ever, infact it has a hard time warming up, I was suprised at how good the radiator looked and iirc shipping was free

Not the radiators fault. The thermostat must not be fully closed.
