Thanks guys for the input. I ended up ordering a b303, it seemed to have a good balance of sound without sacrificeing driveability. Im getting excited to get it all together and down in the '65. Thanks again guys, Im sure I'll be posting up more questions, pictures, and hopefully successful reports!

You can always add some 1.7 rr .It will give you b303 more lift roughly 510 lift.

mjr46 I was just making a statement about the sound. You do want your car to sound good don't you ???I'm sure you've gone out behind your car to hear the exhaust .Everyone on here wants there car to run its best and everyone ,including yourself ,has thier own opinin as to what makes them fast.

I would have stayed with the HO cam and 1.72rr, with a stock head. Stock heads make stock power.

since you have chosen the FMS cam, Make sure you get the correct valve springs, and to do it correctly on an e7 or gt40 head you must machine the head to accept dual valve springs, buy new retainers, locks. Then you still have a head with press in studs, that is limited.
