S/C install begins *** update DONE!!! 5/22 ****
Well, about 2 months ago I was presented a deal I couldn't refuse....in the end I had a vortech t-trim set up for 10 psi and comes with a 12 lb pulley also....it also came with a fmu but the guy needed his t-rex pump for his turbo set up so I got a afm big pump from the corral!!, Anyway, I've decided I will do the install in my garage at home rather than at work, as I'm gonna work on it little by little and if I wanna stop, I don't have a 45 min ride home, apart from a lift my garage at home has a huge 60 gallon compressor and any tool I don't have I'll just bring home....To begin with I'm just gonna use all the stuff the guy gave me, including his 75mm maf and the fmu that has a disc in it for 24lbs inj....while I know the maf is gonna be a restriction and the FMU is a bandaid for the inadequate inj's, the guy ran it like this on his ride and made 360 rwhp before it started to go lean up top, which I anticipate will be the same for me, when I get more coin, I will get a larger maf and 42 lbs inj......I will either take it to a friend who has a dyno to see if my a/f is acceptable to run in the meantime or I will get a fast dual wideband to monitor it.....currently, I still need to get a decent balancer as I don't dare use the oem one as the rubber in mine is questionable, I also need to get a boost retard and map sesor set up for my crane hi-6 ignition I will put on it.....so after all that, I'm gonna be broke again..lol....anyway here are the pics of the AFM boost a pump I installed tonight and wired up...and the motor as it sits...next will come the removal of the brackets on the motor in preperation for s/c install.....stay tuned, I hope to have it all done in 2-3 weeks

hope so...I'm worried it'll pop the head gaskets, so I'll have to make sure the a/f is spot on and keep timing low....I did use a 9333pt1 gasket when I did the n/a build, but I used arp head bolts, I have studs that lay in waiting if they blow..hope not

Theres a fuel option you maybe interested in unless you preffer 10$ a gallon race fuel. Its 100 low lead its what they use in airplaines to reduce knock and detination at high altitudes its a true 100 octane. I run it when im spraying and every so often to clean the cylinders and vlvs.
