4 lug rear disc

4 lug rear disc
Hey all, i know there have been many threads about converting a fox to 4 lug rear disc, and I read all 10 pages (dating back to 2007) and still did not find what I was looking for. I am looking to convert to a rear disc and keep 4 lugs. I don't see a "NEED" for 5 lugs and all my favorite wheels are available in 4 lugs now anyhow, so I figure I would go for rear disc instead. What I am looking for is a parts list to do the conversion. I am hoping to score most of the parts from a salvage yard to get the job done, then when it is time, upgrade rotors, etc... I have heard the 80's Turbo Coupe rear disc setup works, if so:
What years?
Will I use my axles?
Are there any clearance issues, tires stick out, etc...?
What ALL will I need to change? Brake lines, master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, etc...?
I don't want to have to swap axles, cut them down, etc... I am looking for a true bolt on swap, if that is possible. Thanks a bunch for any input/advice you can give me and sorry if this is indeed a redundant post.

id be interested in this awnser 2 ive heard a few set ups like turbo coupes or rangers but im not to sure i don know they sell a full kit on 5.0 resto thats like 650$ for a complete 4 lug rear conversion thats all new stuff, may be worth it to avoid the hassle and quality of used stuff that may not exactly fit right.

As far as the 5 lug conversion, I found this article. Seems fairly simple. Hope this helps.

Actually, I'm talking to a guy who might sell me part of his SSBC setup. What I will lack is the master, proportioning valve, dust shields, and brake lines. I'm still trying to figure out what components to use to complete the system, but I think it's a good start.

k not sure what your budget is, but you should def hit strange engineering up. They have a VERY nice set up, that you can get in 4 lug (i did) and the quality is amazing. Between the 4 piston calipers, 4 lug sloted disk brakes, pads, and caliper mounting plates it cost me $650
(in the pic those are the wrong disks, those are 5 lug, the ones i ended up with are 4 lug and slotted)

nice, thats similar to the set up i saw at 5.0resto for $660, it was axles, rotors, calipers, pads, and lines, i dunno if the calipers were 4 piston or not and im not sure on who actually makes the stuff but i thought it was a good deal
