And if YOU look, I answered one of the OP's questions. True, there are National Guard armories around, but this tool claimed to be active duty. What I did WAS called for, but apparently Asser runs to the mods as soon as **** turns on him. As I said, a little keyboard tuffguy.

Picked up a black 94 5.0. Underdrive pulleys, smog pump delete, rusted headman shorty headers (should I replace?) off road H-pipe, Flowmaster 40s, K&N, NGK plugs, Taylor wires, MSD distributor and coil. Want some more power. I have to first replace blown exhaust manifold gastket and head gasket. Any ideas? Dont know if it has had a gear change or not.....
I would do the free stuff first like bumping the timing to around 12 or 13 BTDC and running 93 octane fuel. Good for a few hp.
You can jack the car up (rearend), put it in neutral and spin a tire one full rotation and count how many times the driveshaft turns. This will give you the approx. gear ratio. Stock was probably 2.73 or 3.08 so if it turns just under or over 3 times, it is stock.
You didn't mention, it it an auto trans or 5-speed?
If the gears are stock, 3.73's with a 5-speed will really wake it up.
I would replace the crappy Flowmasters with something that really flows like Magnaflow or Borla. To get much more power out of it, a good heads/cam/intake swap is the next step.
You will get many different opinions on what brands, etc. The TrickFlow H/C/I kit is decent as a matched set. You can also go with the heads of your choice such as AFR, Holley, RHS, etc, a custom ground cam and Intake of your choice. The Holley SystemMax intake seems to get good reviews. I'm on a tight budget so I run a Typhoon intake, Ported GT40 iron heads and a TrickFlow stage 1 cam for now.
Maybe I'll see ya down at Ohio Valley Dragway one evening.
