New to the mustang/gas world need some help
just recently traded my '00 cummins for a '99 mustang. The mustang originally had a v6 in it, it was swapped with a carb 302 that is bored .30 over w/ flat top pistons, aluminum 210cc heads, arp head bolts, all new bearings throughout, .541 .544 duration hydraulic flat tapped comp cam, Torker 2 intake, 1.6 roller rockers, hardened push rods, arp rocker studs, arp guide plates, holley 750 cfm carb, full msd ignition fresh rebuild with only 1200 miles on it. the motor is backed with a termec t-5 w/ a ram type 2 clutch, aftermarket front sway bar, tubular lift bars in rear, 8.8 with 4.10 gears, sump kit fuel tank with 1/2 inch fuel line. 1 3/4 headers into 3 in exhaust with flowmaster 44s. What i really have questions on is... The pulley system is completely JACKED up. the Crank pulley and water pump pulley sits 5/8s of an inch back from the alternator and power steering pump. whats the quickest solution to fixing this, because as it sits the belt is roughly 3/4 of an inch thick and not touching the whole pulley and would that be the result to it over heating. the guy fixed up the motor and tranny and failed to replace the radiator. so this 302 is being cooled by a baby radiator. i may be new to the mustang world but i do know when something isnt right. please help

I posted in your other thread , get some pics of the belt system for us to take a look at.
There is a serpentine kit that you can buy for the older 302 engines, I am assuming the person that did it has it all mixed up. The serpentine kit would likely solve all your issues, But if you don't have a big enough radiator it may still over heat.

I doubt it's the radiator. My stock radiator cooled my engine just fine even when I was spraying. It might be something very simple like a therostat or a bad water pump but you'll want to fix the belt drive issue have.

Being it was originally a V6, would it have a smaller radiator? I'm just curious as I'm not familiar with those yrs.
And would it make sense to just pull the brackets/pulleys off a boneyard foxbody and start over?
Just thinking out loud here.
